Yes the stratios is nice, but its a fairly low SP ship, I still fly mine on this character for lowsec work, but I made sufficient isk in frigates that I used it to more or less skip the vexor. Nullifier is needed for risk averse people like me to chase escalations into hostile space (and thus risk being probed down), and they won't nerf t3s to the extent that a stratios out tanks them against their racially preferred enemy. I was going to suggest: have you considered the SOE cruiser? With the T3 cruiser balance pass, the SOE cruiser might be worth looking at. My impression from the Fanfest presentation is they will be more versatile but less powerful. Other races, you'd have to research, its probably terrible at angels, but it can probably muddle through all races ded 5s, and might fail at some higher encounters.īear in mind that Proteus, along with the other T3 cruisers will be getting a major rebalancing this summer. Though the serpentis has no ded 6, it has a hard escalating unrated instead. Proteus can solo all gurista (I've done that), and I assume with some cheesing of the repairs on overseer superstructures, it can probably do all serpentis. 7 onwards are usually reliably harder or at least longer than an L4 mission. IMO the gurista ded 5 (lowsec or esc from den) is harder (last pocket has some serious dps). Silly question as I've never done the PvE combat sites one has to scan down. Then come back to high-sec, drop loot, refit, then do a combat-based exploration run and have fun there. Do one long relic/data run for a few days / weeks. Perhaps I should aim for long-term variety. Could someone recommend mods / ammo / what to bring along so I can still do relic / data, but add other sites? If I could do some PvE sites, which ones are safe / easy to run? I'm not interested in optimizing ISK/hour. I'd like to add some variety to the types of sites I can do in null-sec, whether they be PvE, gas harvesting, etc. I currently fly a Buzzard in null sec to make a profit from relic and data sites.
